Come celebrate the 56th Annual Halloween Day Parade, the longest continuing community event in Hudson!
Sign-Up starts at 4p.m., and parade will follow at approximately 4:30. Cash prizes awarded to the top 5 "best costumes" in 5 age groups. Age groups are 3 and under, 4-5 years old, 6-7 year old, 8-10 years old, and 11 years old and up. Prizes are $25 for 1st place, $20 for 2nd, $15 for 3rd, $10 for 4th, $5 for 5th.
A special Grand Prize will be awarded to one lucky participant in the Annual Hudson Rotary Halloween Parade for the "Best of Show." The lucky winner will win a Video Game Package (valued at more than $150.)

Engineers Without Borders has teamed up with the Hudson Noon Rotary to begin the implementation of a new water distribution system in Simahjuleu, Guatemala. During our last assessment trip in May of 2010, the Guatemala Project Team continued to gather data to revamp, repair and replace decrepit gravity fed water distribution system for Simajhuleu, a highland village of approximately 2500 people. In August they received approval from the Cocode (City Council) and are finalizing the design. Come learn how Daybreak Rotary can be a part of this exciting project.

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is the worst place in the world to be a woman. Literally hundreds of thousands of women and girls have been systematically gang raped and tortured over the last 12 years in eastern Congo. Even worse, they have lost the protection of their husbands and been cast out of their community to fend for themselves.
In her presentation, Dr. Victoria will share her experience working with survivor women in the DR Congo, including her journey, successes, and ongoing challenges.
