International Grant Update
Nov 05, 2025 7:00 AM
Please join us for an update on the international grant to upgrade the medical facilities at BKL Walawalkar Hospital, Dervan, Ratnagiri district, Chiplun, India. Founded by Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust, BKL Walawalkar Hospital is a multispecialty tertiary care institution. The hospital has a 25-year legacy of providing community-based health care with a special focus on underserved communities impacted by poverty, malnutrition, limited literacy, and social taboos. The Stillwater Sunrise Rotary and the Pune Tilak Road Rotary clubs submitted an international grant to upgrade and expand the hospital's diagnostic and surgical equipment, enabling the hospital to serve approximately 2,500 additional patients per year. Margie is a retired CPA with a passion for The Rotary Foundation and currently serves as the District Rotary Foundation Chair. With a special interest in global and district grants, Margie takes great joy in helping clubs get their grant ideas off the ground and into communities where they can make a real difference in the daily lives of those served. The St. Croix Riverway

Standing Out as Your Outperforming Best
Dec 17, 2025 7:00 AM
Today’s world is different. It’s full of unpredictability, competition, cynicism, and distraction. How do you rise above it, focus on what matters, and stand out as your Outperforming best? Outperformers are not born; they’re made. We ALL have the capacity to “raise our game,” and Scott Welle has spent 20+ years helping people do this, personally and professionally. Scott’s 10 best-selling books, articles, videos, podcasts, and online programs inspire millions of people worldwide. He has a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and was named the 2021 Midwest Motivational Speaker of the Year. For “fun” (and because he’s kinda crazy!), he’s completed 34 marathons, 5 Ironman triathlons, a 100-mile ultra marathon, and serves others by showing them how to challenge their self-limiting beliefs and aspire to Outperform every day.
